This is a provisional draft for information and transparency. It is not legal advice and is pending review by Euroktimatiki’s lawyer. Details marked in this way still require confirmation:
This website is built to use as little browser storage as possible. We use no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Under the Greek ePrivacy framework (Law 3471/2006), consent is required only for non-essential storage; strictly necessary and user-requested storage is exempt. On this site only essential / user-requested storage is used, so no cookie-consent banner is required.
What is stored
ek_a11y(browser localStorage) — remembers your accessibility preferences (e.g. larger text) so the site respects them on your next visit. Set only because you used the accessibility controls. Essential/functional.- Language preference (Polylang) — when the multilingual system is active, a functional cookie remembers your chosen language (English/Greek/Russian). Essential/functional.
- WordPress operational cookies — WordPress may set strictly necessary cookies only for logged-in administrators; ordinary visitors are not logged in.
Third-party requests
Fonts and the map library are self-hosted, so viewing pages does not call Google Fonts or a CDN. The interactive map loads map imagery (tiles) from a third-party map provider (CARTO/OpenStreetMap) when a map is displayed; this is necessary to show the map and involves a request to that provider. Following an external link (WhatsApp, Facebook, Google Maps) contacts that service directly.
Managing storage
You can clear or block site storage in your browser settings at any time; the site will continue to work, but your accessibility and language preferences will not be remembered.
